How to find out how much
a home is really worth
A home is ultimately worth what someone will pay for it. Everything
else is an estimate of value. The most common way of determining
a home's value is to have an appraisal on the house or a comparative
market analysis. Don't worry, the lender making the loan for your
purchase also wants to make sure you don't overpay for your new
